Qualifications
- Every engineer holds a B.E. or B.Tech in their own discipline. Nobody on the team is a drafter following instructions.

- Trained and working daily to IBC, IMC, IPC, NEC and IECC, and to the local amendments the AHJ has adopted.
Continuity
- Salaried staff, not contractors. Every account has a named backup, so knowledge never sits with one person.
Who you'll deal with
You deal with engineers, not account managers
You’re put in direct contact with the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers working on your job — by email
and on calls. They know the model, the calculations and the reasoning behind every decision on it.
That means an answer comes from the person who made the call, not from a coordinator taking a message and
forwarding it. No relaying, no waiting a day to find out your question was misunderstood.
Direct, by discipline
Email and calls straight with the mechanical, electrical or plumbing engineer, depending on what you're asking about.
Answers, not relays
Whoever replies has the project open in front of them and made the decision you're asking about.
One person accountable
Direct access to engineers doesn't mean nobody's in charge. The principal signs off every engagement.
And I stay above all of it
Fees, scope, priorities and anything that needs a decision from the firm come to me — usually the same day. You never have to work out who to ask. Ask either of us and it lands in the right place.

Mechanical engineer by training, [ 0 ] years in the discipline. I started NexMEP in [ 20XX ] after [ one honest sentence — what you saw in the market that made you build this ]. I quote every project, sit on the senior review, and put my name to what leaves the office.
When you need a decision, a fee revised, or a straight answer on where something stands, it comes from me — usually the same day, and never through a support queue.

Some of these are limits. Most are decisions, and the first two are written into our standard agreement rather than
left as promises.
We don't take direct clients
- No owners, no developers, no architects. Every project comes through a consulting firm, so we're never bidding against the people who hire us.
We don't approach your clients
- Non-solicitation and non-circumvention are both in the agreement. We work behind your firm, never alongside it and never in front of it.
We don't seal drawings
- Your PE is the engineer of record on every project. We don't want that responsibility and we're not set up to carry it.
We don't claim every discipline
- MEP is what we run in-house. Fire protection, civil and structural come through a vetted extended team, and we say which is which. No site visits or field verification either — that stays with your firm.
